In November 2019 at the World Sailing Conference in Bermuna the WS council voted unanimously to replace the RSX Class with the iIQFoil Class as the chosen Olympic equipment for the 2024 and 2028 Olympics As bold and exciting move Olympic windsurfing has now evolved to a class that is current is more widely used as a race and fun form of windsurfing. ​
